3 Tips For Successful Weight Loss This New Year

3 Tips For Successful Weight Loss This New Year

(No More BS New Year Resolutions)

WOW! What a crazy year filled with a lot of sadness and new challenges that we are still learning how to deal with even now. It is my goal as your coach, that is if you allow me to be your coach(you can't be a coach or have a coach already, sorry), that we go out of this year with a positive attitude and seeing success with our personal goals!!! I'm not trying to brag I'm just stating the facts, I've lost 64lbs since February and for me personally it has been a VERY stressful year.

I had already lost 120+lbs and kept it off for over 5 years. No starvation. No deprivation. No working out for hours at the gym. I get to enjoy my life with my friends and family. I don't miss out on any holiday celebrations or vacation fun. I want to share with you how I have finally had sustainable weight loss success and I want to help you to do the same.

There are several tips I can give you to help you on your journey and I will share them with you later, but the number 1 thing you must do (and people have the hardest time doing) in order to have success is -CHANGE YOUR MINDSET. If you don't change the way you think about yourself, your health, your food and nutrition you will never have sustainable weight loss success.

I never realized that I was undermining myself and my chances at success by playing that broken record over and over in my head from childhood telling me "you'll always be fat", "I didn't know you weighed that much!"  I had been sexual molested by my step-grandfather when I was 4 yrs old and I did tell my granny and mom, but no one believed me. It happened again when I was older, so I learned to comfort myself with food and bury those feelings under the fat, because behind the wall of obesity I was safe, it keep people (men) away. And Peeps it's our secrets that keep us sick.

FUN FACT:
Did you  know in the first few days after a bone is broken, the body forms a blood clot around the broken bone to protect it and deliver the cells needed for healing. Then, an area of healing tissue forms around the  broken bone. This called a Callous-a Callous is EXTRA-STRONG AND NEW bone that has been formed around the fracture to protect it.

The point is I thought I couldn't lose weight because I had no "will-power". I believed I was weak, because of my past, that I would never be able to overcome my circumstances and that I had some how allowed those things to happen to me. But the reality is all of those events happened, so that I could become stronger just like the broken bone.

Slowly each event took place to form me into the person I am today EXTRA-STRONG (to stay committed and not give up through more adversity, can we say COVID) and NEW( a new mindset/knowledge that I can share with others to help them have weight loss success and build their own businesses).

THE THING IS MY BEAUTIFUL PEEPS

•No one is coming to rescue you.
• No one else can do it for you.
• There is no magic pill.
There is no quick fix diet, (no matter what the media tells you).
•There is no miraculous weight loss surgery.
It still comes down to Nutrition & Exercise. DO NOT END THIS YEAR BY MAKING ANOTHER BS NEW YEARS RESOLUTION, please.
Instead, ask yourself how bad do you want it? AND more importantly How HARD are you willing to work for it? (Be honest)
"Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you..." Isaiah 41:10

TIP #1 WAS TO CHANGE YOUR MINDSET
TIP #2 TO START-NOW (not on Monday or in the morning-NOW!!!)
TIP #3 DO NOT GIVE UP (it doesn't matter if you eat something "bad" or you don't workout for a month or you gain 20lbs back-DO NOT GIVE UP!)

Momma Lori's Family Favorite Monster Christmas Cookie Recipe-Made with Jiff Peanut Butter and M & M

Merry Christmas My Beautiful Friends!

I don't know about you and your friends, but for me and mine it has gotten harder and harder as the years have gone by to think of gifts to give them. Most of my friends and family members are at a place in their lives were they are financial stable enough to get whatever they want, so it's hard to buy them something that they haven't already purchased for themselves.

After years of finding my gifts in the "hand-me-down" bag to their younger brothers or seeing my well thought out gift still in the box in the back of the closet when I went to go hang my coat up the next year at the Christmas party I decided I needed to make a change to my gift giving routine. But what? While I was thinking about it I went about my yearly routine of making my Christmas cookies and delivering them to my work family and bio-family.

A few days later I started getting all this feedback from my friends and even their family members (a few of the ladies had taken some cookies home and their husbands had gotten into them. One husband told my friend that she needed to tell me I should be selling my Christmas cookies, that's how good they were-WOW!). People started requesting cookies and asking when I was going to bring some more in and that's when it hit me-Hey that can be your gift to your friends and family! And a tradition was born ;)

I can't even begin to tell you how happy it makes me to see the excitement on their faces when they see the cookies and the smiles when they taste the yummy goodness. What greater gift could I possibly get then knowing that something so simple that I did, as making a cookie, brought so much joy. Each year I try to add a new flavor of cookie to my list and a few new people too.

My gift to you is to share with you over the next few weeks some of my most popular cookie recipes, so you can give them a try and bring some happiness to your friends and family. (Sorry my most popular of all are my Orange Cookies but that is my own personal recipe and it will remain a secret).

Let's kick things off with one of my kids favorite cookies and it's a recipe that makes a lot of cookies, so you'll have plenty to share.

                  MONSTER COOKIES

7 Reasons to Add Coconut Water To Your Meal Plan

7 REASONS TO ADD COCONUT WATER TO YOUR MEAL PLAN

Everybody is going NUTS over COCONUTS! Well, products with coconut components in them anyway. The top 3 are coconut milk, coconut oil, and our topic of the day Coconut water.

Over the past couple of years coconut water has become more and more popular as a drink to help keep you hydrated and it's light, nutty taste helps to jazz up all that water you need to drink each day (it is recommended that you drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water per day, so if you weigh 150 lbs divide that by 2=75 ounces of water each day).

IF YOU'RE NOT SURE WHAT THE FUSE IS ALL ABOUT WELL HERE ARE;

7 REASONS TO ADD COCONUT WATER TO YOUR MEAL PLAN

         1. Coconut water is mostly...water.
Coconut water is 95% water, therefore it is a great drink for hydration.

      2. It's low in calories.

Coconut water is not entirely calorie-free like regular water is, but at only 42 calories per serving it's still a dang low-calorie drink. And compared to those sugar filled drinks that most people load up on several times a day they are a definite winner and a ticket to helping you reach your weight loss goals.

     3. It contains potassium.

You need the proper Potassium level to help your brain and nervous system to function properly. Coconut water can help provide some of that much needed potassium. One serving of coconut water will cover about 13% of your daily potassium needs.

     4. It contains magnesium.

Low magnesium level in your body could cause low energy levels or even lead to serious health conditions like asthma, diabetes and osteoporosis. A serving of coconut water will take care of about 14% of your daily magnesium needs.

      5. It contains copper.
Without copper, your organs and your metabolism simply can't function properly. One serving of coconut water will provide about 11% of your daily copper needs.

      6. It contains cytokinins.

Cytokinins are little-known, yet highly beneficial compounds found in coconut water. Science has confirmed cytokinins slow down the development of cancerous cells, plus they slow down the aging process.

      7. It contains antioxidants.

Antioxidants help prevent the damage to our bodies caused by free radicals. Free radicals are produced by your own metabolism, so there's no other way to neutralize the damage, except making sure you consume enough antioxidants in your diet. Enter the coconut water please it is filled with antioxidants. Fight on sister! Fight on!
Coconut water added to my filtered water with 1/4 tsp of Rum extract and 1-Purple container or 1 cup of pineapple chucks placed in the fridge over night makes for a low calorie, yummy, and healthy version of a Pina Colada!

Quick and Easy Breakfast for Under 500 Calories and 21 Day Fix Approved-Black Beans & Eggs

shakeology, weight loss, over fifty, women's health, low calorie
ARE YOU READY TO START YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY? OR DO YOU NEED CLEAN EATING SUPPORT OR JUST SUPPORT PERIOD TO GET HEALTHY? THEN LET'S TALK & I CAN TELL YOU ALL THE WAYS THAT I CAN HELP YOU.
       BLACK BEAN,EGG, & CANADIAN BACON
  •  If you're like me trying to come up with new ideas for breakfast that are tasty, yet still low calorie and healthy, is really hard sometimes. I am a creature of habit and can eat the same thing for days on end usually doesn't bother me, but there comes a time when enough is enough and I need something new and different to eat.

  • I came across this recipe the other day and I tweaked it a little to fit my taste better, but you might enjoy it just the way it is, so I gave you both versions. Let me know what you think!!

  • QUICK & EASY BREAKFAST<500 CALORIES
  •      Black beans, Canadian Bacon, and Eggs!

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 7 minutes
  • Total Time: 12 minutes
  • Servings:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans
  • 3 tsp hot sauce
  • 2 tsp all natural organic butter
  • 4 slices Canadian bacon
  • slices Ezekiel bread
  • 4 eggs large eggs
  • Freshly ground pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix beans and sauce in microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Set aside. (What I do is put the beans and hot sauce in a mini food processor and kinda make like my own version of "re-fried" beans, but they are not fried or re=fried, lol. I have issues with textures and I don't like beans just out of a can warmed up the texture is weird???)
  2. Heat large skillet over medium heat and add bacon. Cook for 1 minute on each side until browned.
  3. Toast bread and arrange on 2 serving plates. (I butter each slice with a tsp of all natural-organic butter)
  4. Place 2 slices of bacon on each slice of toast. Top each with a portion of bean mixture, dividing beans evenly between 2 plates. (I dice eat slice of bacon up then wait for it, wait for it...)
  5. Add olive oil to same skillet and carefully crack eggs into skillet, placing eggs next to each other. Once egg whites turn opaque, cover and reduce heat to low. Cook for 4-6 minutes.
  6. Using spatula, carefully remove each egg from skillet. Top each serving of toast with 1 egg.
  7. Serve immediately. Add optional toppings, if desired.
I prefer to divide the Mushed-up beans between 2 Ramekins then add 1 fried egg next the diced ham and last the second egg and top with red pepper or more hot sauce (cheese is good too, but I don't want to waste the calories;) You can also add vegetables in with the layers and salsa is #awesome layered in with this dish. Serve with your Ezekiel bread toasted and buttered with 1 tsp of butter all for dipping in your yummy dish.

21 Day Fix exchange 1.5 Red    2 Yellow    1 tsp (if you add veggies or cheese then you must add those containers too.)

The Number One Dieting Mistake That is Ruining Your Weight Loss Efforts

                        SACK THE SCALE

How many times have you gotten up in the morning feeling good, you're upbeat and happy, ready to take on the day then you go to the bathroom to do your morning routine, which includes stepping on the scale, and when you see the number on the scale isn't the number you were wanting all that happy goodness is knocked right out of you? Does this ever happen to you?
shakeology, weight loss, cize, turbofire, healthy moms
LET'S TALK

You know that you were good all week long when it comes to your dieting efforts. You made healthy choices with your foods, you stayed with in your calories, containers, points, whatever limits and didn't over indulge. You worked out everyday and you gave it your all during workouts there was nothing left in the tank when you were done-BAM YOU KILLED THOSE WORKOUTS!

Shakeology, Turbofire, healthy eating, clean eatingSo, WTH?! Now that you see that number on the scale and you know the work that you did last week, now you want to give up. Why, sacrifice eating all that delicious food while everyone else is enjoying it, if this is the results you're going to get, right? WRONG!
Many, many times it will take a while before all our hard work shows up on the scale and even when it does it might not be the number we are looking for, because losing weight and getting healthy is more than a number on a scale.  You can't let the number on the scale mess with your mind, your confidence. Don't let a number on a scale defeat you and take away your hope of having a healthy, active life of abundance.

You have to have NON-SCALE VICTORIES. Non-scale victories are other ways of judging how effective your dieting and weight loss efforts are and really we aren't dieting we are making lifestyle changes, because these eating habits are going to be permanent changes not just quick fixes to get immediate results. We want permanent results, right?depression, hypothyroidism, fitness
So, many factors effect the number on the scale that make it a poor way to judge how well your weight loss and fitness program is working.
For example:
  • Did you drink a large amount of water before bedtime?
  • Are you constipated?
  • Did you eat a large amount of salt/sodium yesterday?
  • Are you weighing at the same time everyday?
  • Are you wearing the same clothes?
  • Are you doing a fitness program that is geared towards building muscle? (Muscle weighs more than fat, so you may be losing fat but gaining muscle, which keeps the number on the scale from changing).
All these things make using the scale a bad way of judging your weight loss success. Instead, try using some of the things listed above to measure your success. The whole point of losing weight and getting fit is so you feel better and can live a healthy, active and independent life until the day you die. Yes, you want to look good too and you will when these non-scale victories are accomplished. With these victories your confidence will grow and the way you present yourself and treat your appearance will change too and that my friend is beautiful.

If you're struggling to lose weight and get fit or you just want to get healthy then let me tell you all the ways that I can help. Fill out this application and I'll get back with you ASAP. Losing weight can be a struggle, but you don't have to do it alone. I'm here to help. What are you waiting for?

HOW DO YOU STAY MOTIVATED?

GOOD MORNING MY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE! How did the weekend go? Are we all still recovering from Thanksgiving? Today is a new day and another chance to get it right. So, take the good from the past week and learn from the bad, but let it go after that. Don't beat yourself up over the mistakes you've made learn from them and move on! The only way that you're a failure is if you quit or you never even try to begin with and the fact that you're checking out my page shows that you are interested in making a change for the better.

People ask me all the time how do I get motivated? Or they say they just can't get motivated to workout or start their diet. SO...

HOW DO YOU STAY MOTIVATED?
You set small goals that you can achieve daily. Yes, we all have the BIG Goal of wanting to lose xxx amount of weight, but you need to break that down into small, daily achievable goals, so that you will see success and get a feeling of accomplishment frequently. And that feeling will motivate you to want to continue on to you BIG GOAL!

It's going to take some time before you lose the weight, you didn't gain it over night, so it will NOT come off over night. If you have a lot of weight to lose it can be 6-8 weeks before you SEE or notice a change in your body, even though the scale is going down, and it can take a good 35 lb weight loss before anyone else notices and starts giving you praise. So, you need to have a strong 'WHY" (reason for wanting to lose the weight) and small, daily "WOO HOO" to get you through the tough times.

Another way to help you stay motivated is to surround yourself with positive people who will lift you up. People who will encourage you, but they'll hold you accountable to your goals too. Yes, it's nice to hear how wonderful we are, but we also need people who are going to tell us the truth and remind us of our goals and let us know when we're screwing around. I'm not talking about "Nay Sayers" see my post on  NAY SAYERS . I mean someone who will be honest with you when you're getting off track. And make sure it is someone you will listen to and maybe you're just a little bit afraid of disappointing them, so you'll heed their warning.

Back to surrounding yourself with positive people, that is the beauty of joining a Challenge or Support Group. When you can't get what you need at home a support group is a great place to get the accountability, support, inspiration, and encouragement you need to reach your goals. If you've never tried a group before I host FREE groups every month, so please join me at anytime and see what a difference it'll make in your weight loss. You'll have FREE Coaching from me and you'll be with people who are going through the same thing you are, so they understand your fight and may have the answer that you are looking for too.

To join the next Support group click on "Weight Loss Support Group" on the left hand column and fill out the form. I'll get back with you ASAP. :)

5 CAUSES OF WINTER DEPRESSION

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! JOY TO THE WORLD! For most of us this time of year is filled with good feelings at the thoughts of gift giving and being surround by family and friends. But for others who suffer from depression this time of year can cause an overwhelming feeling of loneliness and despair. The winter months can often add to this depression for several reasons other than SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder). Here are 5 of the possible causes of your winter depression.

1. YOU STOP WORKING OUT When it starts getting cold outside we become wusses and decide to stay in and snuggle under the covers, instead of getting our butts up and going to the gym like we normally do. It has been proven that exercise releases Endorphins and Endorphins trigger a positive feeling in the body, much like morphine, sometimes a feeling of euphoria. Runners call it a "Runner's high" a feeling they get after they run.

2. YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT MONEY-We all are guilty of this at one time or the other I'm sure and that is going a little cray cray during the holidays and spreading WAAAAY to much holiday cheer. Thus, causing ourselves to have to sweat the next few months or even the next year trying to payoff those credit card bills.

3. FAMILY-need I say more, lol. We love 'em but they come with a lot of stress and DRAMA.

4. YOU EAT CRAP-fatty, sugar filled foods for days on end will leave you feeling like, well CRAP. You are what you eat, right? (For more details on how fatty, processed, sugary foods affect your body check out my blog on "Why Am I Hungry Again?").

5. YOU'RE TURNING INTO A HERMIT This goes back to #1 where we are a bunch of wusses and don't want to go out in the cold, so we vegetate inside our homes and lose contact with all human life forms. The problem is the longer we do it, the longer we want to do it and the harder it is to pull ourselves out of this vegetative state. Trust me on this one I know from experience how true it is. I use to be extremely, painfully shy and would withdraw into myself. I missed out on so many, many fun things in life, because of my fear. And the more I withdrew and went  inside myself the easier it was to continue to stay that way. It was very lonely and depressing. We need face to face human interaction to support positive mental health.
(For more details on this topic checkout Health.com "Surprising causes of winter depression".)

**MAKE SURE THAT YOU TAKE THE TIME TO SAY "HI" TO SOMEONE TODAY. Check on a family member or friend and see how they're doing "just because..." In order to get something you have to give something away first. So, if you're looking for a blessing, then be a blessing to someone else.**

I know for me that this weight loss has been a blessing and it is my dream as a coach to help as many people has possible lose weight too, so they can have this same feeling. I've learned that in helping others to find their path, you'll find yours. If you've ever thought about coaching or wondered what it was all about send me a message and I'll get back with you ASAP. I'm looking for kind, compassionate, hardworking people to join my team as we work together to end the trend of obesity in America.

LOW CALORIE HONEY CUMIN CHICKEN

People ask me all the time how I lost the weight and did/do I have to eat any special foods, do I have to do a lot of planning and cooking? Honestly, it does take some planning, but once you get into a routine its not a big deal. In the beginning you'll go through a learning phase and that's what makes the planning take longer, but once you learn the foods,  the containers, which combination of meals go best together it won't take you that long to plan a day or even a week. That's why I say success comes with consistency. Doing the same thing over and over and over until it becomes a routine, becomes a part of you. Then you won't even have to think about it anymore the healthy habits will be who you are.

Next is the cooking or nutrition part of the weight lose and it is simple nutrition, nothing fancy here. Common everyday foods, I don't shop at a speciality store or pay big bucks for Foo Foo foods. I look for recipes that are quick, easy, and have "normal" ingredients, otherwise, I'll get pushback from the kiddos, ya know what I mean?

This recipe didn't take 10 minutes to throw together and was ready to put on the table by the time the kids had their homework done, so that is 2 positive check marks from me. Give it a go and tell me what you think ;)

HONEY CUMIN CHICKEN

  3. Brush each chicken breast lightly with oil. Sprinkle both sides evenly with cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place chicken on grill; cook, without turning, for 5 minutes. When chicken releases easily from the grill, turn, cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  5. Reduce grill heat to low. Brush chicken evenly with honey mixture. Be careful, honey will burn if exposed to flames. Grill until a meat thermometer inserted into the center of each breast reads 160 degrees. Remove from grill.

Are You A Food Addict?

                                ARE YOU A FOOD ADDICT?

Food addiction is real just like any other addiction it is not just a case of overeating. People crave and go into withdrawal from food (sugar, carbs, processed foods, white flour) just like a smoker or heroine addict would go into withdrawal if you took away their vice. So, don't feel ashamed or believe that you have low will-power and that there is no hope for you to ever lose weight.
Recovery and losing the weight is possible and I want you to know that and to understand that you do not have to do this alone. There is a group of people who have gone, and are going through, the same thing that you are, so they understand your struggles. You will not be judged for who you are or if you slip up. You will only be supported and held accountable to whatever standards that you set.
Thanksgiving is coming up and it can be a Food addicts worse nightmare, so I am starting my Support & Accountability Challenge Group the week before on 11/23, so that we will have some skills in place to help us cope with the many situations that might arise on this day.
If you're worried about how you're going to handle the day and you need to get a jump start on your dieting efforts then fill out the application below to join my support group and I'll send you the 411 on the group within the next 48 hours. Be blessed.

WHY AM I HUNGRY AGAIN?

Have you ever eaten a really big yummy meal full of pasta and garlic bread followed by a scrumptious dessert and thought to yourself, "oh my God, I'm so full I'll never have to eat again for a week" then in less than an hours time you find yourself hungry again? I know what you’re thinking 🤔,”Why are we talking about pasta and bread when this is a sugar detox group?!” But stick with me and you’ll see😁

Yep, me too. I use to think that I was crazy, but come to find out there is a reason for this rapid return of hunger and there is a scale called the Glycemic Index that helps you to understand it and how to prevent it from happening.

Basically, The Glycemic Index is a way to measure how carbohydrates react in your blood. When you eat carbs, your blood sugar levels rise anywhere from a little too a lot. The GI uses a scale of 0-100, with higher numbers given to foods that cause the most rapid rise in blood sugar. High GI Foods cause the body to produce higher levels of insulin but sometimes too much. This gives you an energy boost known as a "sugar rush". It feels good at first, but then your blood sugar drops rapidly to lower than normal levels known as a "crash".

**How do you avoid the "sugar rush" and "crash" cycle?  By eating foods low on the G.I. scale. Foods that are on the lower end of the G.I. scale help to stabilize blood sugar and insulin levels.**

A GI >70 is considered high and some of the foods that have this number include white bread, pretzels, french fries, and most processed foods. Eating these foods triggers a rapid rise in blood sugar and insulin levels, which:

  • Encourages your body to store fat
  • Creates a cycle of hunger pangs and feeling unsatisfied
  • Causes an energy crash that leaves you irritated and tired
  • Can lead to high blood pressure, fluid retention, and diabetes
A GI <55 is considered low and some foods that are included with this score are spinach, oatmeal, peanuts, and Shakeology. Consuming these foods helps to stabilize blood sugar and insulin levels, which:
  • Increases levels of glycogen, a hormone that causes body fat to be burned
  • Gives you a feeling of satisfied hunger
  • Helps balance moods
  • Reduces the risk of heart disease, helps control diabetes, and positively affects the aging process.
  • Helps with wound healing.
SOME FOODS AND THEIR GI RATINGS
HIGH (GI:70 or greater)       MEDIUM (GI:56-69)                  LOW (GI:Under 55)
Cornflakes (GI=81)                 Pineapple (GI=59)                        Broccoli (GI=10)
Rice Cakes (GI=82)                Sweet potatoes (GI=61)               Shakeology )GI=24)
Pretzels (GI=83)                    White Rice (GI=64)                     Apples (GI=38)
Baked Potatoes (GI=93)         Beets (GI=69)                             Oranges (GI=42)

I already knew that drinking my Shakeology daily made me feel better, I have more energy, and I stay full longer.

Plus, I don't get those crazy cravings like I use to get, now I understand why. If you've never tried Shakeology and you're struggling to lose weight I highly suggest you giving it a try.

How to Reach Your Weight Loss Goals Before The Year Ends.

How To Reach Your Weight Loss Goals Before The Year Ends.

How many times have you tried to lose weight and failed? Me? I'm not sure I can even count that high, not to mention it's rather embarrassing how many times I've joined programs and quit or never even went back. You know how you go on an all nighter, not  partying & drinking but eating like a starving person, and then you feel like HELL the next day so you swear on Monday you're for sure are going to start your diet and lose this damn weight once and for all! Then Monday comes and you feel better, so you say "screw it! I'll start tomorrow" or you stay dedicated and you actually join a program or a gym, you go once get all the info, weigh-in, then you have to have a "last supper", Hello! because you're never going to eat like this again ever, right? Then you never go back again, but you keep paying the weekly or monthly fees because one day you're going to do it. One day you're going to get your S*** together and lose this weight! How about making RIGHT NOW your  "One" day?

I already know what you're thinking "Well the holidays are coming up and I know I'm going to want to eat all that GOOD food", but tell me what has all that GOOD food done for your over the years? Do you feel GOOD? Do you look GOOD(I'm sure you are beautiful but do you look the way you want too)? Can you move and be active GOOD? And are you setting yourself up to have a GOOD LIFE in the future when you're 70,80,90 years old? The longer you carry that extra weight around with you the more damage that is being done to your body. For every 1 pound of extra weight you carry around that is equal to 4 pounds of extra pressure on your knees & that is just one area of your body that is affected.

For every pound that you lose you are reducing your risk for heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancers. So, losing weight isn't just about looking good, it's about living a long healthy life too. The point is we have 3 months left in this year and if you started on Monday and lost just 2 pounds a week by the first of the year you could ring in the New Year with an almost 30 pound weight loss! HELLO, how freakin' awesome would that be,instead of crying because we gained weight during the holidays we actually lost weight this year?!
